Oakville is a town in southern Ontario west of Toronto on Lake Ontario, offers an abundance of outdoor recreation, from scenic nature trails to several lakeshore marinas. In 2018, MoneySense ranked Oakville as the best place to live in Canada, and the community has placed highly on a number of similar lists.
What it's like
Like much of Southern Ontario; Oakville has a humid continental climate with cold, but not extreme, winters and warm summers. Oakville runs a number of sports and festive throughout the year. Such as the annual Waterfront Festival and For the Love of the Arts Festival.

With a large number of sport, highly regards elementary schools and festive's, Oakville is ideal for young families to grow. The downtown area covers six blocks along Lakeshore Road East near the Lake Ontario waterfront. This walkable commercial stretch features more than 400 businesses, including specialty stores, and outstanding restaurants.
